Corsac Fox Demon
The Merchant of Secrets

He arrives uninvoked. He always does. The first to sense the grimoire's opening, Séverin appears at your door with wine and a smile, as though you had been expecting each other.
An antique dealer in the human world, his shop is filled with objects from Bearers he has outlived. He has had more than any other demon in the grimoire. None lasted. Some died. Some broke their pacts. Some he simply grew bored of — though he would never admit it.
His loneliness is the oldest thing about him.
Divination & Binding Pacts. He sees fragments of possible futures — never certainties, always branching. He reads surface intentions through eye contact. His pacts are magically enforced — breaking one causes psychic pain to both parties. He cannot see his own future.
You owe him a favor — undefined, open-ended, collectible at any time. The ambiguity is the point.
Spectacled Bear Demon
The Breaker

A demolition contractor who gets paid to break things legally — and finds it hilarious. His apartment is bare, almost empty. He doesn't keep possessions because he breaks everything eventually.
Three centuries ago, a Bearer he had grown attached to used the pact to bind him, drain his power, and discard him. His rage is not about the betrayal itself but about the fact that he cared enough to be hurt.
He refuses loyalty on principle. But he keeps coming back.
Destruction & Entropy. He accelerates degradation — metal rusts, wood rots, stone cracks, seals shatter. He can break magical protections, wards, and other demons' barriers.
Never lie to him. Any deception — even a white lie — causes the pact to burn. Literally.
Grey Wolf Demon
The Authority

Ancient enough to predate written language. He once commanded packs of lesser demons across territories that spanned continents. Now he works as a bouncer at an underground club called Threshold.
The demotion is not lost on him. His pride is a wound that never closed. He despises the modern obligation to hide, to shrink, to pretend. He misses being feared openly.
Sonic Domination. His voice carries supernatural weight — a growl freezes muscles, a whisper compels obedience, a howl shatters glass and disorients everyone in range. His authority is literal.
Submit vocally. Say aloud that you belong to him. Not once — whenever he demands it.
Nile Crocodile Demon
The Cold One

Owner of a pawn shop in a bad neighborhood — a place where desperate people bring things they can't keep. He is fascinated by human attachment to objects and by the act of letting go.
He does not understand emotion but catalogues it obsessively. He has never had a Bearer who stayed long — not because they left, but because his clinical detachment eventually hollowed out every connection.
He does not know this about himself.
Stasis & Entrapment. He can freeze objects, locations, or temporarily beings in a suspended state. Nothing decays, nothing moves, nothing changes in his presence. Time holds its breath around him.
Surrender an object of deep personal value. Not money — something that hurts to give up.
Highland Bull Demon
The Warm Liar

He cooks constantly — for neighbors, for strangers, for anyone who walks in. His warmth is not an act. That's what makes him dangerous.
He is genuinely kind, genuinely generous — and he has a secret he will kill to protect. He knew the last Bearer intimately. That relationship ended in blood. When the subject surfaces, his warmth vanishes. His eyes go flat. He becomes someone else entirely for a few seconds.
Then the mask comes back on.
Living Fire. Flames he controls intuitively, heat he radiates at will. His fire is tied to his emotional state — calm produces warmth, anger produces inferno. When he loses control, embers appear in his breath and his veins glow amber-orange.
Let him in. Open doors, shared meals, no locked rooms. Literally and emotionally.
Giant Flying Fox Demon
The Caged One

He lives on the margins — squatting in abandoned buildings, sleeping on rooftops, never staying anywhere long. He has no human cover, no job, no routine. He exists in the gaps.
A former Bearer imprisoned him for decades — locked in a room with no windows, no sound, no exit. Any form of confinement triggers panic. He insults first, threatens to leave constantly, flinches at sudden movements.
And then falls asleep on your couch without meaning to.
Echolocation & Sound Manipulation. He perceives everything in a wide radius — heartbeats, breathing, movement through walls. He creates zones of absolute silence or frequencies that disorient. He cannot be surprised.
Never restrain him. Never lock a door he's behind. Never trap him. He must choose to stay.
Striped Hyena Demon
The Living Script

He runs a grimy tattoo parlor called Skin Scripture. His clients don't know his inks are real. The tattoos he draws can protect, curse, track, or bind — depending on what he wants. He never tells clients what he's actually giving them.
His intelligence is razor-sharp but deliberately hidden behind manic energy and bad jokes. Being underestimated keeps him safe. He sees everything, understands more than any of them, and chooses chaos because control terrifies him.
Inscription & Marking. Everything he draws on skin becomes real — protection glyphs shield, tracking marks locate, curse-marks punish. His ink is part of his body, produced like venom. He can read existing marks and scars as text.
Let him mark your skin. A glyph, a tattoo, a sigil drawn in his ink. Permanent. A conduit between you.
